Only 100 tickets will be sold for exclusive event, with proceeds to benefit Can’d Aid.

Comstock Park, Mich. (July 17, 2019) It’s possible to drink Michigan-crafted beer, listen to incredible music and donate to a worthy cause all at the same time at Perrin’s exclusive Can’d Aid benefit concert on Wednesday, August 7. The event takes place from 6-9 p.m. inside the Perrin Barrel Room, where great beers are aged and good times are had.

From 6:30 to 7:15 p.m., Grand Rapids native Mark Lavengood kicks off the concert with dynamic slide guitar playing. Lavengood has toured regional, national and international music circuits for over a decade as a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and teacher; making music aimed at illuminating the human condition.

Then, headliner Sam Burchfield takes the stage from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Burchfield was raised in the foothills of South Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, and draws inspiration from the region’s folk, gospel, country and southern soul sounds. The young songwriter is known for a deep lyrical honesty that carries the tradition of folk music boldly forward.

Each $55 ticket includes one select complimentary Perrin beer, food and a night of great live music. Attendees are also invited to participate in a silent auction featuring unique items and one-of-a-kind experiences. Proceeds from the event benefit Can’d Aid’s TUNES program, which provides musical instruments and hands-on music workshops to low-income schools across the country.
