Donations Support River and Beach Cleanup Initiatives

Longmont, Colo. (April 25, 2019) Can’d Aid is pleased to work with Wild Basin Boozy Sparkling Water to raise funds for river and beach clean-up initiatives. Wild Basin has now donated $25,000 to Can’d Aid’s Love Yur Mama efforts – a fundraising milestone that will support several Colorado river cleanup projects this summer.

Since Wild Basin’s release, a portion of proceeds from every Mixed-pack case sold has been donated to Can’d Aid, and donations will continue indefinitely beyond the $25,000 mark. The partnership is based on a mutual reverence for the environment.

“Both Can’d Aid and Wild Basin focus on the importance of enjoying and preserving the environment, getting outside, living that outdoor lifestyle and making sure we’re protecting it for future generations,” said Can’d Aid’s Executive Director, Diana Ralston.

River and beach cleanups are a major component of Can’d Aid’s Love Yur Mama initiatives. The organization rallies volunteers to support community-led cleanup days at much-loved rivers and beaches across the U.S.

The next Can’d Aid river cleanup will take place on May 16. Volunteers are invited to Confluence Park in Denver to assist in cleaning up the South Platte River in conjunction with Can’d Aid and the Colorado Water Trust. Can’d Aid will provide all necessary cleanup equipment. An after-party will be held at The Black Buzzard at Oskar Blues Grill & Brew Denver, with one complimentary beer provided for each of-drinking-age volunteer.
