Oskar Blues Brewery Releases Festbier in Taprooms Only

Oktoberfest-inspired Lager Now Available on Draft in Colorado & North Carolina
Longmont, Colo. (September 15, 2021) Oskar Blues Brewery announces the launch of Festbier, a taproom-only release brewed to celebrate the German tradition of Oktoberfest. Festbier is now available on draft in Oskar Blues’ Colorado and North Carolina taprooms.
Festbier is a twist on the hugely popular, rich, golden beers served in Oktoberfest tents like Paulaner’s Oktoberfest Wiesn and Augustiner’s Edelstoff. Oskar Blues Festbier boasts a mix of elegant hops and malt to create a silky-smooth lager, layered with mouth-coating malt flavors. Lagered for two months leading up to the final package, this beer is worthy of the most decorative of steins.
“Designed as a full-flavored and easy drinking brew, Festbier rolls in at a smooth 6.2 percent,” said Tim Matthews, VP of Brewing at CANarchy. “The color is between that of a Light Märzen and a Helles Bock/Wiesn style, and it presents an herbal, floral aroma. The mouthfeel is silk and velvet, perfect for a gulp or sip approach.”
Oskar Blues taprooms will also offer commemorative mugs for purchase while supplies last. Festbier is available on draft through September. Visit us for a stein-full, or take Crowlers to go. Please direct questions to mediarelations@canarchy.beer.
